Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter Split After More Than 1 Month of Dating

News of the couple’s split comes after more than one month of dating, and just hours after they were both spotted separately — which could be an indicator of trouble in paradise since they were spotted together constantly during their fling.

On Friday, September 20, Kaitlynn walked the red carpet at the Entertainment Weekly Pre-Emmys Party solo. The 31-year-old reality star looks chic and edgy in a sheer lace long-sleeved black mini dress that she paired with black patent knee-high boots. She finished her look with tons of silver ear jewelry and her blond hair slicked back in a low ponytail.

Kaitlynn posted photos from the event on Instagram, and fans couldn’t help but notice that Miley was missing from the event. “Ahhh where’s Miley??? Lol😂😂😂,” one fan wrote, and another commented, “No @mileycyrus.”

Meanwhile, Miley, 26, was also doing her own thing. On Saturday, September 21, she posted a handful of snaps on her Instagram Story from Las Vegas, where she would be attending a Def Leppard concert with her mom, Tish Cyrus, and her sister, Brandi Cyrus.

Miley and Kaitlynn first sparked dating rumors on August 10, just hours after news broke of Miley’s split from her husband of less than one year, Liam Hemsworth. Miley and Kaitlynn were spotted packing on the PDA, kissing in photos taken during their vacation in Italy with Brandi, 32. The blonde beauties went public with their fling just one week after In Touch confirmed Katilynn’s split from her husband of one year, fellow Hills star Brody Jenner.

Insiders previously confirmed to In Touch that Kaitlynn and the “Slide Away” singer had “been friends for a while.” Their relationship took a romantic turn after they “connected” over their breakups, sources told Us Weekly.

It didn’t take long for their romance to heat up. After they returned to California from their Italian getaway, Miley and Kaitlynn went on a lunch date with Miley’s mom, Tish. Insiders told In Touch at the time that it wasn’t the first time Kaitlynn and Tish met. “Tish has given her seal of approval and really likes Kaitlynn and thinks she’s fun,” the insider added. “Tish’s main priority is Miley’s happiness.”

For the month that they were dating, Miley and Kaitlynn were spotted out and about in NYC and L.A., holding hands during daytime dates and packing on the PDA wild nights out. But it seems like now, their relationship was over as fast as it started.
