‘16 & Pregnant’ Star Set to Be Released From Prison 7 Years After Attempted Bank Robbery

Former 16 & Pregnant star Josh Drummonds is set to be released from prison next month after seven years behind bars, according to a Monday, April 20 report in The U.S. Sun.

Drummonds appeared on season 2 of the MTV series with then-girlfriend Nikkole Paulun, who was pregnant with the couple’s son at the time. The 2009 episode saw Paulun give birth to their now 16-year-old, Lyle.

“From 2009 to 2012, Josh was just constantly in and out of jail,” Paulun said during a TikTok video shared Sunday, April 19. “[In] 2012, he goes to prison for the very first time.”

According to Paulun, Drummonds’ first prison stint came after he broke into her mother’s house when nobody was home. He was allegedly charged with fleeing and eluding, which landed him behind bars for four years.

After his release in 2016, Paulun explained that her ex moved to Texas where he continued to get in trouble with the law.

In June 2019, Drummonds was arrested on multiple charges of armed robbery. He was also in possession of meth and charged with intent to deliver, according to Starcasm.

“Eventually he attempts to rob a bank,” Paulun said in her TikTok update. “If you didn’t know, robbing a bank is a federal crime, which is why he’s in federal prison.

Drummonds is scheduled to be released from federal prison in Louisiana on May 12, according to The U.S. Sun. 

“We haven’t seen that man in nearly 10 years. I know I joke and tee hee on here but the pain he has caused myself, Lyle, and his other victims is truly unforgivable,” Paulun captioned another TikTok video earlier this month. “I won’t forgive and I won’t forget. Sorry not sorry.”
