Kaitlynn Carter Was Making Waves Even Before the Brody Jenner and Miley Cyrus Drama

In the throes of the Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth drama, one name continues to be thrown around — Kaitlynn Carter. So, who is this chick? Turns out she was a boss babe before she met her ex, Brody Jenner, and even before she made her reality TV debut on The Hills: New Beginnings back in June. Here’s everything you need to know about the blonde influencer shaking up Hollywood.

Brody, 35, and Kaitlynn, 30, started dating in 2013. The two met at a party and quickly hit it off. They got engaged in 2016 in Indonesia and seemed head-over-heels in love. Although the two married last year, the couple called it quits. “They love and respect one another and know that this is the best decision for their relationship moving forward,” Brody’s rep Scott Newman told In Touch on August 2.

Prior to her romance with the reality star, the beauty ran a style blog called Hey, Miss Carter. But it seems like she’s on to bigger and better things because the blog hasn’t been updated since July 2018. Additional Kaitlynn did some work with e-commerce site Forray Collection. According to her Instagram bio, she is the founder of @selfeofficial, a skincare line that is “coming soon.” On top of that, she can now add “reality star” to her résumé. Kaitlynn has been featured on the new MTV Hills reboot as part of her ex’s story line.

Now that Kaitlynn is a single lady and an influencer, she has been jet setting and causing a stir with Liam’s former lady. Miley, 26, and blonde beauty were photographed kissing aboard a boat in Lake Como the same day news broke of Miley and the 29-year-old’s split. Since their respective breakups, Miley and Kaitlynn have been spending “lots and lots of time together,” a source exclusively tells In Touch.

So how did these two beauties meet? Multiple sources revealed to In Touch that Miley and Kaitlynn actually met through their estranged husbands who often surf and hang out together. The two have been friends for a while. “Miley will go to Kaitlynn’s house late night — dropped off in an SUV — and spend hours there. They’ve been friends for a while,” an insider exclusively told In Touch. “This also isn’t their first trip together. They were in England last month together but didn’t post pics together, just separates of them each at Stonehenge.”
