Mike Sorrentino and Wife Lauren Reveal She Suffered a Miscarriage: ‘It Was Heart-Wrenching’
This is so heartbreaking. Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and his wife, Lauren, revealed during a November 18 interview on ABC that the Jersey Shore Family Vacation star suffered a miscarriage at seven weeks pregnant. “It was heart-wrenching,” Lauren, 34, said of the experience, while Mike, 37, nodded in support.
The New Jersey natives went on to reveal that they “conceived” the very evening Mike was released from his eight-month stint in federal prison. “Then, at about six and a half, seven weeks, I miscarried,” Lauren continued. “When I found out we were pregnant, I felt like this is why we went through all these challenges for years and that this was our time and it was our blessing. It was hard. It was really difficult.”
As challenging as this loss has been for the pair, Lauren insisted on telling their story. “I didn’t want to hold this in,” she expressed. “I wanted to share it for other people going through it and just be honest so I can kind of heal through the process.”

Quickly, fans of the college sweethearts took to social media to share their love and support. “So sorry about your loss. Thank you for sharing your story today. We lost our child at 36 weeks. The heartache and pain is unbearable but somehow with faith and God, you make it through. God is good and he will bless you both,” one user wrote on Instagram.

So proud of you and your strength,” along with a heart emoji. Between the unwavering support of their fans and the strength of their relationship, we have no doubt Mike and Lauren will get through this.
