As In Touch previously reported, Daniel â who, along with Issac, shares son Levi with wife Mindy Coleman â revealed in a December 2025 Instagram post that Issac had mouth cancer, noting, “TBH, we always knew this day was coming, as it’s a near certainty w/ Fanconi anemia.”
Issac was diagnosed with Fanconi Anemia at birth, which, according to the Cleveland Clinic is a “rare inherited condition that affects your bone marrow and many other parts of your body.”

Daniel shared many health updates along the way, including one on Instagram in February where he explained the mouth cancer was stage 3 and almost “stage 4 because of the speed and aggression of the spread.”
In an April Instagram update, Daniel revealed Issac “has a hospice team onboard now to help manage the pain & we are just doing our best to make each day as enjoyable and restful as possible for him.”
