Ever since Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got engaged in August 2025, fans are dying to know who will score an invite. Now, a former stadium opener is setting the record straight. On the Zach Sang Show on May 22, singer Maisie Peters revealed whether she will see the 36-year-old hitmaker tie the knot with her NFL beau. Peters hasn’t received an invitation or any of the Grammy winner’s famous home-baked treats. “I’ve not received a sourdough loaf or a wedding invite,” Peters confessed, adding, “I think that’s OK”. The 25-year-old opened for Swift’s Eras Tour in August 2024 at Wembley Stadium, earning public praise from the star, who called Peters “amazing” and “absolutely incredible”. They later bonded backstage, where Peters gifted her books and a tote bag from Brick Lane market. However, she also gave a speech about Hilary Duff, which she jokingly suspects ruined her chances. “After hearing my spiel on Hillary Duff, I don’t think it’s coming,” Peters quipped, adding, “Obviously, I’m a huge fan and maybe one day I’ll get to try her sourdough. Life goal [and it’s good] to have dreams”.
While Swift and Kelce keep their cards close, rumors claim the big day is locked for July 3, 2026, in New York City. Swift previously teased on the Graham Norton Show, “I think the wedding is what happens after [my Life of a Showgirl promotional tour]… I know it’s gonna be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble.” The secrecy sparked false gossip, with rumor sites claiming Zoe Kravitz was excluded because their friendship was finished. However, People confirmed Kravitz is invited. Kravitz has praised her pal, telling E! News that Swift “always brings it” and is “the best.”

Managing an elite crowd isn’t easy, and some invitees feel disgruntled by strict rules. According to the Daily Mail, an anonymous single celebrity guest is contemplating boycotting the top-secret venue entirely because she wasn’t allowed a plus-one. “It’s the wedding of the year, but I may sit this one out because I am shy,” the insider said, explaining that attending alone feels daunting. “My invite did not let me bring a plus one,” she complained, noting married friends like Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco get to go together. “I mean, what am I supposed to do? Go alone? That is so awkward,” she added, joking, “I am not friends with Gigi and Bella Hadid!”
Other friends, like producer Jack Antonoff, are avoiding questions on live television. While visiting NBC’s Today show on May 22 to promote Bleachers’ track “Dirty Wedding Dress,” co-host Craig Melvin asked Antonoff if he would attend any big weddings this summer. Instead of giving a straight answer, the musician deflected by teasing the anchor. “Are you married?” Antonoff joked on air, firing back with, “Oh, great, how’s that going? Is that going to stick?” After some tense laughter, Antonoff closed the topic by muttering, “I hope so, man.” Given that Swift called him one of her best friends, fans are certain he will attend, along with rumored guests like Andy Reid and Graham Norton.
