“She’s the runt of her litter, she’s a magical creature,” Moore told host Jimmy Fallon during her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2024. “She was meant to be with me, and I was meant to be with her.”

The tiny dog stood out wherever she went. After losing the teeth that once kept it in place, her tongue permanently peeked out, becoming one of her most recognizable features.
The Striptease star loved the quirk. “It’s part of her charm,” she told Fallon.
In August 2024, Pilaf landed the cover of Vogue‘s dog-themed “Dogue” issue.

She was quite a diva, Moore admitted. “She’s not a concrete girl, nor a pee-pee pad girl,” the Landman actress said during a 2025 appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, per Parade Pets.
And in 2025, Moore told E! Live From the Red Carpet that she felt “naked” without the pup, as reported by People.
