Kailyn Lowry isn’t going to let the struggling economy ruin her upcoming podcast tour.
The Coffee Convos podcast host, 34, admitted she understands why some artists have struggled to fill seats in recent months, pointing to rising ticket costs and financial pressures facing fans in what some are calling “blue dot fever.”
“I absolutely do think it’s ticket sales,” Lowry exclusively told In Touch when asked about a recent wave of performers canceling tours. “It’s a hard pill to swallow.”

Still, the former reality star said she sympathizes with performers and audiences navigating a difficult economy.
“I fully understand where the economy is at, and people don’t have money,” she explained. “I sympathize and empathize with both sides — the artist who this is their career and how they provide for their families, but then also the people who would buy the tickets [but] don’t have the funds.”
“Does it concern me? Yeah, in some ways,” she admitted. “But I’m going to show up if there’s one person in the audience or if there’s 500 people in the audience. I’m not going to cancel any of my dates for that reason.”

“This is what I love to do,” she added. “Even if I wasn’t getting paid, I would still go on tour.”
Lowry is set to kick off her Fatherless Behavior Tour in Indianapolis on June 17. The 20-date tour will include special appearances by Lowry’s former Teen Mom co-stars, podcast co-hosts, and friends.
“I’ve been joking that it’s gonna be more of a comedy show than actual podcasting, because we just want to give the fans an experience,” she told In Touch. “Obviously sort of like a podcast but it won’t air. It’ll just be like the experience of watching us in person, and I just hope that in a dark time…it’s just a little bit of comedic relief.”
