“I’m so focused right now on work and kids that I don’t know. I’m not in my, like, ‘I-want-a-date era,'” Spelling admitted. “I can’t imagine sitting at dinner and making small talk … that sounds exhausting.”

The Smallville actor, 53, questioned whether the mom of five — who shares children Liam, 19, Stella, 18, Hattie, 14, Finn, 13, and Beau, 9 with McDermott, 59 — would be open to “noncommittal sex.”
“No. I mean, maybe in the future,” Spelling said. “I just got hormone replacement [therapy] or whatever, so I’m told I’m going to have, like, sex urges through the roof.”
“I think when that happens, you’re going to get a lot of dates,” Rosenbaum predicted.
“No!” Spelling insisted before noting she’s “a numbers girl,” referring to her “body count.”

As for what the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum is looking for in a man right now, she said she wants “brain” and “mental sex.”
“You want somebody who’s strong-minded, who’s witty, who’s creative, who’s playful?” Rosenbaum asked, to which Spelling confirmed yes, explaining she wants “mental stimulation” and to feel “challenged.” She also said she likes “funny guys.”
Rosenbaum also asked Spelling if she would ever get back together with her ex-husband — whom she finalized her divorce with in 2025 — to which she confessed, “I don’t know.”
