The couple, who built their custom home in 2008, are seeking $10.6 million for their more than 8,000-square-foot estate.
Heigl, 47, originally purchased the plot of land in 2007 for $1 million before building their dream home. After raising three children, daughters Nancy Leigh Mi-Eun, 17, and Adalaide Marie Hope, 14, and son Joshua Bishop, 9, on the property, Heigl and Kelley are downsizing.
“It’s been very hard to decide to let it go. I’m a real sort-of homebody and creature of habit,” the 27 Dresses star told Wall Street Journal.
According to Heigl, the couple’s children were a deciding factor in the move.
“When they’re all gone — all slaying their own dragons and living their lives — it’s just you and me in this giant house on this giant land,” she told the outlet.

The sprawling property features five bedrooms and 30-foot ceilings in the great room. A spa wing with a sauna and steam shower, a recently-renovated kitchen, and 270-degree views over the property make the expansive property one-of-a-kind.
The family of five are relocating to a nearby Victorian farmhouse, which they purchased a year ago and renovated, the Wall Street Journal reported.
