Selena Gomez Spotted Vaping During Bill of Rights Dinner Event: She Was ‘Trying to Hide It’

Oops! Selena Gomez was seen vaping at the ACLU SoCal Annual Bill of Rights dinner on Sunday, November 17, an eyewitness tells In Touch exclusively, mentioning how the singer was seemingly trying to conceal it.

“A puff of smoke came up from Selena,” the attendee exclusively reveals to In Touch. “Selena [was] trying to hide it and takes a puff then [kept] her hand down at her side. Selena was holding her phone with her other hand and she and her friend huddled over her phone and [were] looking at something and laughing at it together.”

The “Wolves” singer, 27, appeared to be in great spirits at the dinner and she pulled out the stops with her ensemble, wearing an orange velvet dress with peep-toe pumps.

Selena served as a presenter for the event held at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel, and the honorees included Don Cheadle, Justin Tranter (who has collaborated with Selena before) as well as Judy Balaban.

The former Disney star’s appearance comes shortly after she made headlines for some Instagram drama involving her and Bella Hadid. On November 15, Selena left a sweet comment on the model’s IG post, and the photo was soon deleted from Bella’s page. Afterwards, Selena responded to a fan account, writing, “That sucks,” with a crying emoji.

It’s rumored there’s tension between them because of their love triangle with The Weeknd (whose real name is Abel Tesfaye). Neither of them are with the “Can’t Feel My Face” crooner anymore, but perhaps time hasn’t healed all wounds.

Most recently, Selena posted another comment showing love to Bella, 23. “I shouldn’t of spoken without knowing the truth. I’m sorry. Please don’t be hurtful,” the chart-topping artist wrote. “She is a wonderful person and it was all a misunderstanding.”

Another source tells In Touch exclusively that Selena is over the drama, but the model is not exactly ready to let bygones be bygones. “While Bella’s no longer dating The Weeknd, they’ve remained friends and her feelings for him aren’t going to disappear overnight — they have a long history together,” the insider explained.

“She worries that Selena wants to rekindle the romance, especially as she’s been single for a while, but it’s not the case.”
