All Smiles! Meghan King Edmonds Looks Happy Following Split From Estranged Husband Jim

She doesn’t seem too bothered! Meghan King Edmonds shared a photo of herself in costume on Halloween via Instagram, and the Real Housewives of Orange County alum was all smiles in the snapshot just days after her husband, Jim Edmonds, filed for divorce after five years of marriage.

“This is a ‘crypt’-ic post,” Meghan, 35, captioned the shot along with a “#happyhalloween” hashtag. In the photo, she seemed to be dressed as a zombie prom queen, and we think she did a killer job of pulling off the look. The outfit included messy blonde hair, a blue prom dress, a tiara and what looks like a skeleton glove on at least one of her hands.

This is the first Halloween for the reality star since she and her husband split on October 25. Jim, 49, filed for divorce after accusations of infidelity, In Touch confirmed at the time.

“Meghan and Jim have been fighting,” a source told Us Weekly, the outlet which first broke the news. “The latest fight began when he went to a recent hockey game and she began interrogating him about who he went with.”

Jim was accused of having an affair with the family’s nanny and that led to a week of arguments between the couple, Us reported. Meghan allegedly confronted her husband and their employee about sleeping together before he filed for divorce.

Meghan broke her silence about the split on October 29 when she wrote on her lifestyle blog, “I am broken for my family. I am buried in despair. I cry at the drop of a hat. But I am enduring. I will set an example for my children and I will teach them to love and respect people while also knowing how to condone unethical or wrong behavior. I will facilitate healthy, consistent, and ongoing relationships with their father and with his family despite the hurt I feel from them because my children should not reap the karma of my personal situations.”

Just days later, she at least seemed to bounce back a little bit, if her smiley Halloween photo is anything to go by. “Hang in there!” one fan commented on the festive photo. “You are strong, you are fearless, you are beautiful!” You got this, girl.
