The big day is almost here, you guys! That’s right, in just a couple days the youngest Kardashian-Jenner, Kylie Jenner, will be exiting teenagehood and celebrating her 20th birthday! While many of her past birthdays have been filled with A-list guests and flashy events, it seems as though this year the lip kit mogul is opting for a more intimate celebration.
While we’re sure she’ll definitely have a memorable party, it seems as though she’s less focused on the bouginess of the event, and much more focused on spending time with the people she loves. Watch the video below to see what Ky said about her special birthday plans:

This decision might seem out of character for the raven-haired beauty, but just recently, it was reported that Ky wanted to distance herself from her famous fam. A source close to the soon-to-be-20-year-old told Hollywood Life that she doesn’t want to be remembered as “Kim Kardashian’s little sister.”

“Kylie does not want to blow her chance to truly separate herself from her famous family,” the source said. “She sees her new show [Life of Kylie] as her big opportunity to break away from her older sisters’ shadows. Kylie loves her entire family dearly but also wants to make her own mark and brand.”
So, perhaps this low-key celebration is just further proof that she’s different than her famous sisters. Well, no matter what you do for your birthday, we hope you have a great time turning 20, Kylie!
