Kylie Jenner Slammed by Fans and PETA for Flaunting Insane Collection of Designer Handbags

Kylie Jenner found herself at the center of some backlash after she posed in front of several Hermès Birkin bags, handbags that can cost up to $200,000 each.

In photos posted to Instagram on Tuesday, April 21, Jenner, 28, is standing in front of shelves holding several of the pricey purses while wearing a lacy black bra that she paired with low rise black pants.

She captioned the carousel of images, “can’t a girl have fun.”

However, several people in the comments section slammed her for the “tone deaf” pictures.

“One row of those bags could end hunger on the east coast,” one person wrote.

“How many homeless could you feed if you sold just half of your handbag collection?” another person questioned. “Just asking here? Do you want change? We have to be the change.”

Even PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) had some harsh words for the makeup mogul, writing, “That Birkin wall is a graveyard. Clearly your empathy is buried with the bones.”

This isn’t the first time Jenner has come under fire for flaunting her wealth. In 2018, she gave fans a tour of her former mansion in Hidden Hills, California, and revealed that she had an entire room dedicated to her luxury handbags.

“This is pretty much where I keep all my purses,” she said, showing off numerous designer bags. “I made a little room in my house and I did this all custom so they all could have a little home and be lit up really pretty.”

Just like her most recent Instagram photos, fans called her out, but the Kardashians star quickly turned the comments off.
