Kim Zolciak claimed to be living in “torture” amid her nasty divorce with estranged husband Kroy Biermann more than one year after they separated.
The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 46, was stopped by paparazzi at LAX on Monday, December 16, and the reporter asked Kim to describe what she was going through in one word.
“Torture,” she replied in a video obtained by TMZ, later adding, “I have for years.”
Kim later claimed that the former NFL star, 39, “changed, but it didn’t work” and said his behavior was “not for the good.” However, the Bravolebrity wanted to “take the high road” for her kids.
“I’m not going to sit here and do what Kroy’s tried to do to me – which is bizarre,” Kim continued, adding, “I’m not going to say much. Yeah, it’s all good. I wish him well and I hope he’s happy – for my kids’ sake.”

Kim and Kroy, who tied the knot in 2011, share kids Kroy Jr., Kash Kade and twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren. The “Tardy for the Party” singer welcomed daughters Brielle Biermann and Ariana Biermann during a previous relationship and Kroy adopted them both in 2013.
The estranged couple, who was once known to be deeply in love, mutually ended their nearly 12-year marriage by separately filing for divorce in May 2023. Kim and Kroy reconciled two months later, leading Kim to withdraw her filing. They separated for good in August 2023 when the family patriarch filed for divorce again.
Things really started to get messy between the pair in November 2023 when police were called to the Biermann household for a domestic dispute. Police bodycam footage captured Kim and Kroy’s heated state upon their arrival and they shared their respective sides of the story. The family matriarch claimed that Kroy was yelling at her for “two hours like a crazy person” and claimed he accused her of “f–king other men.”
Kim told Kroy to “calm down,” which only enraged him further.
“Calm down when I don’t have a f–king life? I don’t have someone who will f–king listen to me!” he yelled. “Oh, calm down? You wanna live this, motherf–ker? You wouldn’t have lasted a year. You wouldn’t have lasted a day in this f–king house!”
Police returned to Kim and Kroy’s home in April and she accused him of stealing her phone. TMZ obtained bodycam footage of the incident the following month. The incident led to a judge ruling a “closet schedule” for the couple to avoid a collision.
Kim was given rights to the closet “Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., accordiong to court documents obtained by Page Six. During those times, Kroy was under no circumstances allowed to “enter the space.”
Almost one year later, things got worse when Kim accused Kroy of spying on her in their then-shared home amid their divorce proceedings. Kim submitted legal paperwork in October, claiming that Kroy “passed out in her closet after spying on her.”
Kim and Kroy are currently trying to sell their seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom, 15,694 square foot Georgia estate after In Touch exclusively reported the Manor Community Association filed a lien against the property earlier that month. Kim moved out in November, Page Six reported at the time.
