In the 22-year-old’s bombshell interview with The U.S. Sun — which was originally recorded on September 26, 2025, but was published in full on Tuesday, June 30 — Collin said that he was extending a “formal invitation” to his mother to participate in a lie-detector test.
One of the questions that he would like to ask the Jon & Kate Plus 8 matriarch, 51, is about “where all the money” that he read about in “court documents” has “disappeared” to.
“I’m an adult now. I’m going to do my own research,” Collin said. “When these documents have my name on them — and my siblings name on them — I will find and justify the means of their money and my money, and we will find the truth.”
When Collin was asked if he got “anything” from the family’s reality show, he said that all of his siblings (twins Madelyn and Cara, both 25, and sextuplets Aaden, Joel, Hannah, Alexis and Leah, all 22, whom Kate shares with ex Jon Gosselin) were “supposed to receive money out of a collective fund.”
“I don’t want to say exactly how much it was, but then we saw in court that a lot was taken,” he claimed, alleging that his siblings received “some” and he received “a small portion.”

However, Collin claimed, “I can tell you that it was close to nothing because she took so much from it. And I do have court documents, and I would like to release those, too.”
Collin said his “theory” is that his mother “portioned out” money from the fund for all of the eight children and gave the ones “who live with her like a lot of money — like a lot, a lot.”
He, in turn, was allegedly given “scraps.”
Collin said he believes “there’s probably money that’s still owed in my name.”
During the interview with The Sun, he said, “I’m sure she’s going to watch this and be a little bit scared, but let’s just put it all out there. I don’t have anything to lose.”
Addressing his mother, he said, “I know you do.”
Kate — who has avoided addressing her feud with Collin — previously opened up about where the “income from the show” has gone after a social media follower asked about it in a TikTok comment.
“Honestly? Providing for 8 kids, college funds which I am proud to say covered all of their college and more and LAWYERS,” she said. “Sickening but I was drug [sic] into court constantly and that costs A TON. Sad bc my kids could have a lot more saved and I could have a retirement saved if it weren’t for lawyers :(. It’s okay.”

Kate and Collin’s volatile relationship has been thrust back into the spotlight after he announced his upcoming book, In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood.
The bombshell memoir — which features a photo of his mother appearing to cover his mouth during the height of the family’s fame on their reality TV show — will hit shelves on October 13.
