It appears that Kate Gosselin is unfazed by the drama.

The Jon & Kate Plus 8 matriarch, 51, is continuing to respond to her followers who bring up her ongoing family feud with estranged son Collin Gosselin in the comments section of her TikTok posts.

In response to her latest, and completely unrelated, TikTok video shared on Monday, June 29, someone wrote, “Sending you love Kate! You know your truth and what a great mom you are💜.”

Her 22-year-old son — who recently announced he’s releasing a bombshell new memoir titled In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood that will unpack “the dark side of fame” — claimed via his Instagram this week that his mother would hit him as a child when he was 2 years old.

Addressing her follower’s comment, Kate wrote, “Thank you. I’m fine. Nothing surprises me anymore in that department 😳.”

Earlier this week, Kate — who shares Collin and her seven other children with ex-husband Jon Gosselin — told a follower that she can’t sue for defamation because she is a public figure. She also told multiple followers that she deletes negative comments on her page, writing: “No hate here or ridiculous accusations!”

Collin responded to some of the comments with a post on his Instagram Story, claiming, “Never forget the fact that my mom would write in her diary how she ‘had to pray to God to stop hitting me’ (This was while I was 2 years old by the way).”

Collin previously claimed in a 2024 interview with The U.S. Sun that she was abusive, alleging that, as a child, he would have his hands and feet zip-tied and be locked in a basement room.

Following the interview, Kate said via her attorney that she had no comment. Her lawyer, Richard Puelo, additionally told Fox News, “I don’t believe she intentionally harmed any of her children in any way, shape or form.”

Collin’s siblings include twins Madelyn and Cara, both 25, and sextuplets Aaden, Joel, Hannah, Alexis and Leah, all 22. He remains estranged from many of his siblings who are close with their mother.

In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood — which features a photo of his mother appearing to cover his mouth during the height of the family’s fame on their reality TV show — will hit shelves on October 13.
