Kate Gosselin Surprises Boyfriend in ‘Little House’ Costume, Teases It May Make ‘Another’ Appearance
Kate Gosselin is really leaning into life out West.
The Jon & Kate Plus 8 matriarch, 51, appears to be having fun as she continues to provide daily updates from her trip to the “Wild West” with boyfriend Steve Neild.
In her latest TikTok post shared Thursday, July 23, Kate greeted followers in a costume inspired by Little House on the Prairie, which follows the Ingalls family’s life on the Western frontier in the 1800s.
“The prairie has clearly gotten to me,” said Kate, who was dressed in a floral blue dress, white apron and bonnet.
“This was a suggestion from somebody on here,” she explained to followers from her boyfriend’s property out west. “Thank you for coming up with this. I immediately went to Amazon and ordered this beautiful costume.”
“I have a video surprising Steve at breakfast time with this outfit, and to say he was surprised is an understatement,” Kate added, explaining that they were “still laughing” about the moment.
Of the Little House-inspired ensemble, Kate said, “I think it’s really cute. I chose a pretty color and a pretty fabric, but I don’t have an iron here, so Ma from Little House on the Prairie will probably be upset.”
“It’s gonna make another appearance, I’m sure, at some point,” she teased. “Maybe we can have people over for dinner, and I can wear it.”
In November, Kate confirmed she’s in a relationship with her former bodyguard after sharing a clip on both Instagram and TikTok that showed her “obsessions,” one of which is her “boyfriend.”
Her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin — with whom she shares twins Madelyn and Cara, both 25, and sextuplets Aaden, Collin, Joel, Hannah, Alexis and Leah, all 22 — told The Sun in October, “I believe Kate was cheating on me during my marriage,” noting that Neild slept in his house while they were filming.
In reference to the decades-long rumors, Kate told People in 2009 that “the allegations they’re making about me are disgusting, unthinkable, unfathomable, and I am horrified.”
In recent days, Kate has been back in the headlines for her ongoing feud with estranged son Collin, who recently announced his upcoming book, In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood.
The bombshell memoir — which features a photo of his mother appearing to cover his mouth during the height of the family’s fame on their reality TV show — will hit shelves on October 13.
