Kim Zolciak Sparks Dating Rumors With Chet Hanks at Jelly Roll Concert Amid Kroy Biermann Divorce
Hot new couple alert? Kim Zolciak sparked dating rumors with Chet Hanks after she shared a series of Instagram selfies with Tom Hanks‘ son while they attended a Jelly Roll concert.
The Don’t Be Tardy alum, 46, took in the show with Chet, 34, in addition to going backstage to meet Jelly — real name Jason DeFord — and his wife, Bunnie Xo, as documented in her post on Wednesday, November 13.
Kim leaned her head against Chet in one smiling selfie while they swayed along to a song during Jelly’s performance in a brief video.
The reality star shared a video of her meeting Jelly, 39, and proudly introducing Chet to the “Save Me” singer.
“So nice to meet you, thanks for having me. I love your wife, huge fan,” Kim gushed after hugging Jelly, then introduced the “White Boy Summer” rapper, saying, “This is Chet, my friend.” The “Wild Ones” singer shook his hand and shared, “Good to finally see you.” Chet responded that he was still living in Nashville, Tennessee, when asked by the CMA winner.
Kim wrote in the caption of her post about how she had “so much fun” with Chet at the show. She added, “One of my absolute favorite concerts and everyone that was/is part of this massive operation is beyond kind. There are no words for the happiness and joy that surrounded us all that night.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum is still in a contentious divorce battle with estranged husband Kroy Biermann. The former NFL player filed for divorce from Kim on May 5, 2023, and she quickly did the same. While the pair called off the split in July of that year and appeared to be giving their marriage another chance, Kroy filed for divorce for a second time in August 2023.
Kim and Chet were first linked while filming MTV’s The Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets in Medellín, Colombia, in 2023. TMZ reported that the duo appeared “flirty” with one another and that “sparks were flying” on the set.
When a paparazzo caught up with Kim at LAX on October 11, 2023, to ask her about reports of things heating up with Chet, she smiled when his name was mentioned and said he was “a nice guy.” When pressed about whether they were dating, the former Bravolebrity said she couldn’t “imagine dating again,” after Kroy’s most recent divorce filing.
Chet was still smitten with Kim nearly a year later. “One of the best moments of my life was meeting Kim Zolciak,” he revealed to Page Six at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards on September 11.
The Your Honor star added that he would “absolutely” move in order to date Kim, who is still living in her suburban Atlanta marital mansion with Kroy amid their bitter divorce.
“I’m living in Nashville right now, so it’s not that far [from Georgia],” he told the outlet.
Kim and Kroy are living in separate areas of their home, which they are trying to sell amid their divorce. Kroy has the master bedroom while only Kim is allowed in the basement.
