Josh Duggar, who was found guilty of receiving and possessing child sexual abuse material, has been moved to a new prison — his third in nearly two months.
KNWA/FOX24 reported late last week that the 19 Kids and Countingalum, 38, arrived at the Elkton Federal Correctional Institution in Lisbon, Ohio, on Wednesday, July 8.
This marks the fifth move for Duggar in total.
When asked why Duggar has been moved around during his 12-year sentence, the Bureau of Prisons told the outlet, “For privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not discuss the conditions of confinement for any individual in our custody, including reasons for transfer.”
According to the Daily Mail, Duggar was initially detained at the Washington County Detention Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas, after his arrest in 2021.

He was then transferred to FCI Seagoville in Texas, where he spent nearly four years, and was then sent to FMC Fort Worth, also in Texas, on May 29. In June, Duggar was reportedly sent to Oklahoma City Federal Transfer Center (FTC) before landing at the Elkton Federal Correctional Institution.
FCI Elkton is described by the BOP as “a low security federal correctional institution with an adjacent low security satellite prison,” according to KNWA/FOX24, and it currently holds more than 2,000 inmates.
