Kylie Jenner is getting some serious feedback for her new ad promoting her latest Kylie Cosmetics product.
In the photos promoting the item, a brightening powder, which comes in a compact with a mirror, Jenner, 28, is seen standing against a white wall, wearing a dress made almost entirely out of the makeup compacts. While some are tacked on as is, parts of the dress featured a deconstructed take on the product, with mirrors, powder packs and other pieces of the compact attached to the dress.
“Soft, smooth, summer-ready skin đ€â apply our NEW natural blur brightening powder with brush 05 under the eyes or anywhere on the face you want to brighten,” Jenner captioned the post, which featured a look at the unique dress, as well as a few shots of the new product.
Though the strapless dress underneath appears to be a muted pink color, it’s the brightening powders that stole the show â and likely, not in the way Kylie intended.
After sharing the ad with her millions of Kylie Cosmetics followers, the reality star was instantly met with a barrage of comments comparing the compacts to condoms.
“Looks like condoms đ,” one user wrote, with another adding, “Is that a condom Dress lol?”
“Had to do a double take I thought those were condoms,” another user wrote.
The Kyle Cosmetics founder also faced criticism for her appearance in the photos, with some noting that her face looked “white” while the rest of her body was tan.
“In the last picture her face is white the rest of her body tan,” one user commented, with another posing the question, “White face tan body. Is this what we’re doing now?”

While Jenner has not responded to the backlash to her latest product launch, it’s not the first time she’s worn Kylie Cosmetics to promote the line’s latest drop.
And though she was largely applauded for the photos, the mother of two was met with some flak there as well, with commenters calling Jenner out for seemingly copying Indian actress Urfi Javed, known for her creative fashion choices, including donning a lipstick dress on the red carpet.
