Josh Duggar’s Flirty Jail Texts to Wife Anna After 2021 Arrest Revealed: ‘I Love You Sexy’

Josh Duggar allegedly sent a series of intimate and sexually explicit messages to his wife, Anna Duggar, while awaiting sentencing in his child pornography case, People reported on May 8.

Josh and Anna married in 2008, and have seven children together.

The NSFW texts, obtained and published by People, reportedly were exchanged in 2022 while Josh, 38, was held at the Washington County Detention Center in Arkansas.

In one message, the former 19 Kids and Counting star told Anna he missed private moments with her, then nudged her to send revealing photos.

“[I] miss you my lover. I miss being in the shower with you scrubbing, I miss watching you try on clothes, I miss watching you being sexy,” he wrote, also praising her for “making the scale numbers lower than expected” and suggesting she buy “something low cut.”

The messages grew more graphic as Josh described fantasies about reuniting with his wife.

“[O]r you can try on clothes and send me a pic of you in your bra and panties 😉 or try on ‘go to the private pool for sun’ swimsuit? Btw you should order you a 2-piece swimsuit since summer is coming on soon, get something hot and fun,” he wrote.

He followed up with a direct request. “P.s. – send pics asap as requested, imlied [sic], inferred or otherwise stated lol. nice one(s) with your twos in it! (OvO),” Josh allegedly wrote, per People.

After apparently receiving photos, he replied: “P.s. – i cant [sic] wait till we can be alone again. I miss ALL of you! what specificially [sic] are you thinking/dreaming/fantasizing about today that you miss? i miss you and me being US! tell me later? :O”

Josh wasn’t done. Days before his sentencing, he wrote Anna about the private moments he was looking forward to.

“And then we could really have some fun … once we were nice and relaxed! So many memories flooding my mind right now,” he wrote. “Your sexy cleavage is amazing! Thank you for thinking of me!”

“[W]ell, i did a lot of writing. it helped. It was inverted, both of us going. both of us being alone. Both of us enjoying our newest adventure. Both of us having fun, with only us! Both of us enjoying each other and taking things up a notch,” Josh wrote, closing with an emotional tribute to Anna.

“You are amazing. You are fun! You are gorgeous, sexy, and beautiful — all in one! You are my precious, lovely bride. my lover. my passion. my dream girl! I am yours and thank you for being mine! I LOVE ALL OF YOU ANNA!”

Josh was convicted in 2021 on federal child pornography charges after investigators said he downloaded and possessed child sexual abuse material, per CNN. He pleaded not guilty and has maintained his innocence.

In 2022, he was sentenced to more than 12 years in federal prison and is currently serving his sentence at a federal correctional facility in Texas.

While Josh was initially scheduled for release in August 2032, People reported that it’s now set for February 2033.
