Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard Slammed for Restraining Their Sons While On “Progressive” Date Night

Are Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard OK? The former Counting On stars are getting called out online after Jill posted a strange Instagram Live video about their "progressive" date — while their sons are "restrained" in the background. Watch the video above for details.

An administrator for the anti-Duggar Facebook page, Life Is Not All Pickles and Hairspray, wrote, "Jill did another live instagram post a couple of hours ago. Derick is totally weird in it. He talks about them being on a 'progressive' date with the kids restrained in the back. He says the restraints are the progressive babysitters or something like that. What's his deal with the word progressive? He seems to be mocking it in his own special way." Some even went on to accuse Derick of drug use, however, no one was able to back up their claims with concrete evidence.

Unfortunately for the pair, this isn't the first time they've been slammed online for how they treat their children. Most recently, the duo went on a mission trip to Guadalajara — one of the most dangerous Mexican cities — and took their eight-month-old son, Samuel, with them. According to Hollywood Gossip, the city was the scene of 23 murders over the course of 48 hours last month.

Previously, the reality TV exiles put a tortilla on their son's head as sunscreen and left "SamSam" on the floor — multiple times. "Jill enjoys procreating, but once the baby is born, she's not interested in the least in the actual parenting," one person wrote at the time. Another parenting pro added, "How about a carrier or swing — something besides the dirty floor? I would have never done that to either of my children."
