Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are at the center of controversy — again! The Counting On star — and former Counting On star — are getting trolled by fans after a photo surfaced of their youngest son, Samuel, on the floor while they ate. Recently, the mother-of-two showed hints of breaking free of her family’s strict, conservative rules when she stepped out wearing pants — and earlier this week she showed off a nose piercing! Her rebellion comes on the heels of news that her husband was fired by TLC for his hateful words about the network’s star, Jazz Jennings, who is transgender. After countless, hate-fueled tweets about how being transgender is a “falsehood,” TLC decided to part ways with Derick and revealed that he will no longer be featured on Counting On.
“We want to let our viewers know that Derick Dillard has not participated in Counting On for months and the network has no plans to feature him in the future,” the network said in a statement. “We want to reiterate that Derick’s personal statements do not reflect the views of the network. TLC is proud to share the story of Jazz Jennings and her family and will continue to do so.”
