Brad Pitt Was Reportedly ‘Extremely Happy’ To Be With Some Of His Kids On Christmas
It sounds like Brad Pitt was on the nice list this year! Even though the actor has had a tense relationship with his kids lately, he was able to spend the holiday with some of them after he reached a new custody arrangement with ex-wife Angelina Jolie.
“Brad exchanged Christmas gifts with the kids on Dec. 25 at his house,” a source spilled to Us Weekly. “[He] has never spoiled the kids for their birthdays or holidays. It wasn’t over the top but low-key.”
Unfortunately, not all of his kids wanted to join in on the holiday fun. “Maddox refused to go, and Pax didn’t go either,” the source continued.
According to the insider, the Fight Club actor, 55, was “extremely happy” to be reunited with some of his children — even though he wasn’t the only adult in his house. A monitor reportedly slept in the guest room to supervise the sleepover.
Angelina has also been spending time with her youngsters. On Dec. 9, the Maleficent actress was spotted smiling while Christmas shopping with Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox in LA. Hmm, were they trying to find something special for their dad, perhaps?
Angie and Brad announced they were getting divorced in 2016, and since then, they have been in a heated custody battle. “She wants the kids all to herself, and she’s being super vindictive,” an insider revealed exclusively to In Touch in August. “She’s losing her grip on reality. Her anger and selfishness are getting the better of her. She’s even called people in her camp at 2 a.m. to rant.”
However, the former couple recently avoided a trial at the end of November and were fortunately able to sort things out. “A custody arrangement was agreed two weeks ago and has been signed by both parties and the judge,” Angelina’s attorney, Samantha Bley DeJean, shared at the time. “The agreement, which is based on the recommendations of the child custody elevator, eliminates the need for a trial. The filing and details of the agreement are confidential to protect the best interests of the children.”
Hopefully, the handsome hunk can start seeing his kids on a regular basis again soon.
