Angelina Jolie and ex-husband Brad Pitt’s daughter Shiloh previously dropped her dad’s last name from her surname, and it was recently revealed that she’s changed her name again. What name is Shiloh going by now?
What Name Is Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s Daughter Shiloh Going By Now?
Shiloh’s new name was revealed when she attended a dinner celebrating the launch of fashion designer Isabel Marant’s collection with Net-A-Porter on May 29, 2025.
She attended the event as a choreographer for musician Luella, who performed her new single “Naïve” alongside two dancers, Keoni Rose and Tako Suzuko, according to Variety. Meanwhile, the outlet also revealed that she was being referred to by the name Shi Joli at the event.
Shiloh Jolie Previously Dropped Pitt From Her Last Name
While she was best known as Shiloh Jolie-Pitt for most of her upbringing, Shi shocked the public when she filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court on her 18th birthday on May 27, 2024, to drop Pitt from her last name.
While Shiloh’s petition hit a bump in the road when her court hearing was postponed in August 2024 due to a technical issue, In Touch confirmed later that month that the petition was granted. In light of the decision, it was determined that she would keep her mother’s legal last name.
How Did Brad Pitt React to Daughter Shiloh’s Name Change?
Brad never publicly responded to Shiloh’s decision to drop his last name, though an insider exclusively told In Touch in June 2024 that he “was blindsided by Shiloh dropping his last name, but he wasn’t surprised.”
“He feels that Angie has slowly but surely turned their kids against him. She absolutely influenced their decisions to distance themselves from their dad,” the source continued, noting that the choreographer “did not give her dad the heads up about her decision.”

The insider continued, “I mean how could she? He’s absolutely heartbroken, he’s really hurt because he was closest to Shiloh. He was unaware that their relationship changed, he really thought they were on good, solid ground.”
It turns out that Shiloh is not Brad and Angelina’s only child to drop his last name. Their daughter Vivienne revealed she wasn’t using the Ocean’s Eleven star’s last name on the playbill of her Broadway musical The Outsiders. Vivienne – who was credited as Vivienne Jolie – worked on the production as an assistant to her mother, who produced the show.
Meanwhile, Shiloh and Vivienne’s sister Zahara also ditched their father’s last name when she participated in her initiation ceremony at Spelman College’s Mu Pi chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority in May 2024.
“My name is Zahara Marley Jolie. And [I] landed all the way from the Golden State in the city full of angels: Los Angeles, California,” she said during the event, which was documented by video and later circulated online.
