She’s loving it! Amy Duggar King has shared regular updates about her new life as a mama to baby Dax, and her fans can’t get enough of it. On October 14, she shared a post to her Instagram Story that most moms can probably relate to, about how she felt after breastfeeding her baby boy. “Just finished a 45-minute feeding,” she wrote. “I feel like a really swollen, exhausted, happy cow!” LOL.

Amy, 33, and her husband, Dillon King, welcomed their baby boy — named Daxton King — to the world on October 9. “Announcing Daxton Ryan King!” Dillon’s sister Loren Bullard told In Touch. “Both mom and baby are great and healthy! He was 7lbs 8oz and 20in long. Smooth delivery!” Since then, the new parents have been soaking up the love with their baby, and Amy has been sharing at least a photo a day of her little guy with her Instagram followers.

Amy delivered her son via scheduled C-section on her due date, and she took to social media to talk about why she decided to give birth that way. “BRB … we’re gonna go be parents now!! Surprise!! Our little Daxton will be here today!!” she wrote in a caption on Instagram. “With my small frame and the fact that the Dr. Said there’s an 85 percent chance I’d have an emergency situation. We went ahead and scheduled a cesarean to be on the safe side. I’m sure there will be negative comments. But I have to do what’s right for my body and what’s healthy for my son.”

The Counting On cousin talked about her recovery from that surgery a little bit in another video she shared to the social media platform on October 14. “We love him so much, he’s perfect,” she said while holding her newborn. “And totally worth the pain. Although C-sections are no joke. I’m resting a lot. But I have gotten up. I can shower myself. I can pretty much hobble around and kind of take care of myself, for the most part, but I’m not trying to overdo it. But I just wanted to say thank you for all the love and prayers and support that’s come our way.” We hope Amy keeps feeling very supported as she adjusts to becoming a mom — exhausted feedings and all!
