Baby King has a name! Amy Duggar is currently pregnant and expecting baby No. 1 with her husband, Dillon King, and she’s been sharing every step of her journey to motherhood with fans on social media. On Saturday, July 20, the 32-year-old took to Instagram to share another big baby update by revealing the name she and Dillon chose for their son.

“Baby K has a name!!! Baby Dax we cannot wait to meet you!! You already bring so much joy into our lives!! We love you so much Daxton Ryan! 💙💙,” Amy wrote in the caption of a photo of baby Dax’s name written in sand. Amy’s fans, followers and Duggar cousins flooded the comments gushing over Dax’s name.

“Love the name🙌🏻 Can’t wait to meet little Daxton Ryan!” Amy’s cousin-in-law, Anna Duggar, wrote. Amy’s younger cousin Josiah Duggar and his wife, Lauren Duggar (née Swanson), commented, “What a cute name! Love it!” And Amy’s cousin Jinger Vuolo (née Duggar) wrote, “Love, love, LOVE the name! Yaaaaas 💙🙌🏻.”

While most of Amy’s followers approved of the cute name, one of her followers criticized her for sharing the name on social media. “Don’t you think it would be more special if your little man, was the first to know his name, right when he’s born, before the rest of the world knows it?”

But Amy respectfully responded to the commenter and defended her social media habits, and she explained why she felt it was important for her to share these types of details with her fans.

“I think it’s special to share with my followers! We do things differently and we are thankful to receive so much love and support!” Amy wrote. “It has been one of the hardest months of my entire life and I’m going to celebrate life because it is so precious. His kicks, his little heartbeat, his name means so much to us!!”
