Amy Duggar Fires Back After Troll Claims Her Family Would ‘Disown’ Her Over Nearly-Naked Photo Shoot

Back off! Amy King (née Duggar) shared a photo of herself from a milk bath maternity shoot she did and sadly had to deal with trolls in the comments. Thankfully, she handled it swimmingly. (Pun intended). “Each week the belly gets bigger, the wait gets shorter but the love grows so much stronger for you baby boy! #milkbathphotography,” Amy, 32, captioned a beautiful shot of herself in a tub of milky water wearing a long black dress, cradling her baby belly. “What a fun/relaxing photo shoot 📸 My skin was soo soft too … extra bonus! @samanthat.photography.”

Of course, as always, someone had something to say in the replies. “Oh god … This isn’t a real milk bath pic. You have to be naked but of course the Duggars would disown you if you did that,” a troll wrote, referring to Amy’s famous TLC star cousins. Amy quickly fired back, “I can do whatever I want, I am my own person. My last name is King last time I checked. I didn’t want to be naked. I love the classiness of this shot instead! I love how @samanthat.photography styled it!” So take that, random hater.

Other people in the reply thread seemed very impressed with the Counting On cousin for standing up for herself. “No one has to be naked it they don’t want to and who are you to tell her it’s not a real photo if she isn’t naked? Her comfort level with nudity and who she is related to have nothing to do with each other,” one person responded. Another said, “@amyrachelleking, I think it’s a beautiful picture, and I think @samanthat.photography did a fabulous job. People can be so disrespectful and mean, you’re doing great in life, and haters will always try and bring you down but ignore ignorance like that. You’re going to be a great Mama 💙.” We couldn’t agree more!

At WEtv’s Love After Lockup screening in August, Amy exclusively told In Touch that her famous cousins told her when it comes to being a new mom, “They just told me to love on that baby and take time, just like spending time just bonding with Dax when he’s here. And not rush back to work … skin on skin and that kind of thing. I already have these Instagram photos in my head of what I want to do.”

Amy recently updated her fans to let them know she’s 36 weeks along, so it won’t be long before she and her husband, Dillon King, welcome their baby boy. Daxton Ryan will be here before we know it, and maybe that will finally quiet the trolls. (Probably not, though, let’s be real.)
