‘Alaskan Bush People’ Star Billy Brown Has a Secret Daughter — Get to Know Twila Byars
Hold up — Billy Brown has a daughter from a previous marriage?! The Alaskan Bush People star wed Ami Brown (when she was just 15) in 1979, so fans were shocked to find out that the 63-year-old had another child from a previous relationship — in addition to the seven he has already.
According to Alaskan Bush People Exposed, Billy got married to a woman named Brenda, who was 17 years old at the time. They got divorced five years later after Billy got his full inheritance. He wrote in his book, Lost Years, that he married her to get a minor's release from the state of Texas. What a guy, huh?!

Twila and her father have had an on-again, off-again relationship
When the episode aired in 2016, Billy claimed he hadn't seen or spoken to his 45-year-old daughter in 30 years. Yet sources close to the Texas native told RadarOnline, "They've communicated over the years on occasion." Additionally, although Billy claimed his ex-wife and local Texas folk told the reality star to leave town, sources close to Twila say he abandoned her.

Her daughter passed away
On the show, Twila revealed that her daughter had passed away in a car crash, and sources allege that Billy didn't do anything following the loss of his granddaughter. "He never consoled her about her daughter's death," said a source. She also has another daughter named Bronte.
She claims she's less important than Mr. Cupcake, the family dog
In a Facebook post from August 2016, Twila wrote, "Its funny when your rank in the family is after the dog." She added in the comments, "Well, I'm thinking the cats are above me also." Ouch.
