Bristol Palin Makes Her ‘Teen Mom OG’ Debut, Admits That Her “Life Is Not Perfect”
She’s here — regardless of whether anyone wanted her or not! When Bristol Palin confirmed that she would be joining the cast of MTV’s Teen Mom OG as a replacement for original cast member Farrah Abraham, some fans were stoked but others…well not so much. But, unfortunatley, viewers don’t have a choice or say in the matter, and Bristol has already filmed a decent amount of scenes for her first season — and MTV gave fans a first-look at what they can expect to see from Bristol’s storyline this season.
MTV aired the sneak peek in the middle of a commercial break during the 2018 Video Music Awards, and she’s getting real about her life right off the bat.

Who is Bristol Palin?
Bristol is 27 years old, but she did become a mother as a teenager which would help her fit in with the rest of her Teen Mom OG co-stars Amber Portwood, 28, Catelynn Baliterra, 26 — and Bristol the same age as Maci Bookout. Even though she didn’t start out on MTV like the rest of the girls, who first starred on their own episodes of MTV’s 16 and Pregnant before joining the first iteration of the Teen Mom franchise, Bristol’s teen pregnancy also played out in a public way because she is the daughter of a politician.
How old was Bristol when she had her first child?
Back in 2008, when Bristol was 17 years old, she got pregnant with her boyfriend Levi Johnston’s baby. But the timing was less than perfect because that was the year that her mom Sarah was running for vice president with her running mate, John McCain. Since Bristol’s teen pregnancy could have had a negative affect on Sarah’s campaign, Sarah chose to spin it into a positive story and she proudly announced Bristol’s pregnancy and engagement to Levi during the 2008 presidential election.

How many kids does Bristol have?
Bristol is a mom-of-three. She gave birth to her first child, 9-year-old sonTripp, in 2008 but she and Tripp’s dad Levi eventually split and called off their wedding in 2010. She moved on with her second baby daddy and ex-husband Dakota Meyer, and they share two-year-old daughter Sailor and one-year-old daughter Atlee together.
