Wendy Williams Still ‘Loves’ Ex Kevin Hunter But ‘Wants a Divorce Yesterday’

So long! Wendy Williams said on “Sway in the Morning” on Tuesday, August 6, that although she still “loves” her husband of 21 years, Kevin Hunter, she is so ready to get out of that relationship.

“I want a divorce like yesterday, I want a divorce two months ago, three months ago. Whenever I found out, four months ago,” Wendy, 55, told radio personality Sway Calloway on his show. “I want a divorce and I want to be friends with Kevin. I mean, and not because we have a son but because that was real love. I still love him, just not in that way, you know? You’re either in or you’re out with me. I still have love for him and I wish him the best in his new life with his new family.”

The tall beauty filed for divorce from her former manager, 47, back in April 2019. The talk show host later alleged that Kevin had a mistress for 15 years and even fathered a child with the woman. Wendy cleared up rumors on that she was rehiring her former love stating, “The only business that he can manage right now is to sign some divorce papers, I have a manager.”

Despite her tumultuous relationship with Kevin, it looks like Wendy has already found a new man. “I’m not on the market anymore. I’m not in love. I don’t know how I’m doing. I’m not in love but there’s somebody that I’m crazy about,” she said on air. She further disclosed that her new mystery man is a doctor who has been married before and has adult children.

Pals close to the star can’t wait to see her thrive now that she is free from an unhealthy marriage. “I don’t know what truly happy Wendy is capable of, ‘cause I’ve seen truly miserable Wendy accomplish some really great things,” good friend Charlamagne Tha God explained to Us Weekly. “So I don’t know what truly happy Wendy is capable of. I think skies the limit for truly happy Wendy.”
