What Happened? Selena Gomez Has a Seemingly Rough Performance at the 2019 AMAs

If you’re ready come and get it! Selena Gomez performed at the American Music Awards on Sunday, November 24, but it seems like she had a rough time. The star dazzled as she took the stage by storm, but the Texas native seemed to sing off-key during parts of the tune. Sel started off the performance with a stripped down version of “Lose You to Love Me” and then changed the vibe as she sang “Look At Her Now” while wearing a metallic silver dress with black boots. Of course, her bestie Taylor Swift and Halsey couldn’t help but show their support for the 27-year-old as they were rocking out during her time on stage. So supportive!

Prior to her killer performance, Selena took our breath away in a stunning orange velvet number at  the ACLU SoCal Annual Bill of Rights dinner on Sunday, November 17. The star was glowing as she acted as presenter at the star-studded event.

Selena appeared to be in high spirits despite her recent Instagram drama with Bella Hadid. On November 15, Selena reached out to the model, 23, and commented “Stunning” with heart-eye emojis on her Instagram post. Unfortunately, Bella deleted the pic soon after. As the shade was pointed out by a fan account, Selena responded to the post, writing, “That sucks,” with a crying emoji.

It is rumored the two have longstanding beef because of their love triangle with The Weeknd (whose real name is Abel Tesfaye). Selena later took back her words in a follow-up comment. “I shouldn’t of spoken without knowing the truth. I’m sorry. Please don’t be hurtful,” the artist wrote. “She is a wonderful person and it was all a misunderstanding.”

Selena is apparently over her drama with Bella and is ready to let bygones be bygones, although the model isn’t quite ready yet. “While Bella’s no longer dating The Weeknd, they’ve remained friends and her feelings for him aren’t going to disappear overnight — they have a long history together,” an insider told In Touch exclusively. “She worries that Selena wants to rekindle the romance, especially as she’s been single for a while, but it’s not the case.”

Regardless of Selena’s recent chaos, she rocked the AMAs stage!
