Sandra Bullock ‘Helped’ Exes Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban ‘Find a Way to Get Along’ Post-Split

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have Sandra Bullock to thank for stepping in and helping them look past their differences, a source tells In Touch.

“Sandra was filming [Practical Magic 2] in London with Nicole when everything with Keith was first exploding so she’s been heavily involved since the start,” reveals the source. “Her loyalty is with Nicole first and foremost but she’s always had a real soft spot for Keith too, and she made a big effort to encourage them both to put down the boxing gloves and find a way to get along.”

The 61-year-old actress, who lost her longtime partner Bryan Randall to ALS in 2023, “is painfully aware of how short life is and that has a huge influence on the way she approaches life,” says the source. “Radical forgiveness is something she encourages everyone in her life to practice,” including Kidman, 59, and Urban, 58.

Bullock “wanted Nicole and Keith to get to a place where they could be kinder to each other because at the end of the day, they still have a family together,” the source says of the former couple, who share daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith, 15.

The Oscar winner “didn’t push but she did chip away at it,” adds the source.

“She’s been one of the people that Nicole has leaned on the most throughout this. They’ve had so many heart-to-hearts,” shares the source. “Nobody’s saying she waved a magic wand and fixed everything, but she definitely helped edge them in a better direction. She deserves a lot of credit.”
