The Austin Powers star, 63, took the stage at the Sunday, May 31, event in a classic black suit. His bright white hair was a shocking contrast to his once-pitch black locks.
“He morphed into Anderson Cooper,” another commented of his hair.
“I thought it was Steve Martin at first glance,” a third joked.
Myers thanked a slew of people in his speech, including the Canadian taxpayers, which earned him a roomful of cheers, according to a video posted by the Academy on Monday, June 1.
“I always say to my American friend, ‘I had a big ally on my hand. I have 40 million people behind me,” the Saturday Night Live alum said. “I had a whole speech written about how much I love Canada, but I suspect some of you might be sick of hearing that at this point.”

The Wayne’s World actor became emotional during his speech as he thanked his mom and dad for “moving to Canada.”
“And for stressing the importance of being silly,” he added.
He concluded his acceptance speech by thanking his home country, saying, “I would literally be nothing without you.”
