Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi had fans doing a double-take after revealing she’d been sitting on a secret for nearly 10 months.

“I’ve been waiting to post this since October!” the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star wrote on Instagram alongside photos of herself strapped into climbing gear while scaling the side of a building. “I scaled a building & felt like a secret agent. WATCH TONIGHT at 8pm.”

Without any context, the first part of the post immediately sparked curiosity, with some fans wondering whether Snooki had taken on an extreme new hobby or even filmed a secret project.

The answer came at the end of the caption, which was promoting the “Battle of the Paddles” episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, which aired last night on MTV.

The photos were taken during filming of the season in October, and because of the show’s production schedule, Snooki had to keep the experience under wraps for months before finally sharing them with fans. The high-flying adventure was part of the cast’s outing to support the Be the Match organization (now NMDP), which Deena Cortese has been a longtime supporter of since losing her father to leukemia in 2016.
