‘Jersey Shore’ Fans Lose It Over Producers’ ‘Wild’ Photoshop of Angelina Pivarnick’s Ex
‘Jersey Shore’ producers photoshopped Angelina Pivarnicks ex Vinny 2.0 as Sloth from ‘The Goonies’ in a cheeky promo fans are calling a subtle dig at the basement-dwelling ex.
Jersey Shore fans think the show’s producers may have slipped in a not-so-subtle dig at Angelina Pivarnick’s ex-fiancé, Vinny Tortorella, a.k.a. “Vinny 2.0.”
After MTV shared promotional artwork inspired by the 1985 classic The Goonies, eagle-eyed fans quickly sounded off about the cheeky editing choice.

The image featured “Vinny 2.0” photoshopped to look like Sloth from the beloved adventure film, because, as pointed out in the “Battle of the Paddles” episode of the MTV series, he was living in Angelina’s basement.
“Bring out the man in the basement,” Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino said in the episode, wanting to counsel the couple through their relationship troubles.
But it was the blink-or-you’ll-miss-it edit of Vinny’s face that quickly made it to Reddit.
“Producers are wild for this one,” the original poster wrote alongside the photo.
Others agreed, speculating about the production team’s sense of humor this season.
“They are really stepping up on editing to try and get the show picked up for future seasons elsewhere,” one fan commented.
Angelina and Vinny’s relationship played out on recent seasons of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, with viewers watching the pair navigate explosive fights, trust issues and repeated breakups before ultimately calling off their engagement.
Since then, Angelina has continued documenting the aftermath of the split on the MTV reality series, making Vinny a frequent topic of conversation among fans.
