Meghan Markle has learned to deal with the never-ending controversy that surrounds her by focusing on things she can control — including her appearance — a source tells In Touch.
“She’s under so much scrutiny and a lot of it is totally out of her hands,” notes the source. “But Meghan can control how she presents herself, so that’s become sort of a coping mechanism. She tries to always look as good as she possibly can.”
According to the source, the Duchess of Sussex’s quest for perfection at age 44 requires a big time commitment.
“It seems like Meghan has a beauty appointment every day, whether it’s an 8-hour session getting her hair colored and her extensions touched up, or a trip to the dermatologist for laser treatments and injectables,” the source spills. “Her routine is very time-consuming.”

The As Ever Founder — who shares Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, with husband Prince Harry — also invests a lot of cash to stay forever fabulous, adds the source.
“She’s only going to the absolute best of the best, which means the costs are outrageous,” the source dishes. “Between all the treatments and the upkeep and the personal stylists who get her glammed up before she ever steps outside the house, her beauty bill runs into the tens of thousands of dollars each month. It’s extremely expensive, but Meghan insists the money is worth it.”
Meghan showed off all of the hard work and dedication this March, wowing on the red carpet alongside pal Kelly McKee Zajfen at the Alliance for Children’s Rights 34th Annual Champions for Children gala in Beverly Hills.
