Meghan Markle is determined to take Australia by storm when she and Prince Harry arrive Down Under later this month, a source exclusively tells In Touch.
“She says there’s a huge market to tap into there, with serious money to be made,” spills the source. “She’s ready to throw herself into it!”
In March, the Her Best Life podcast announced that the As Ever founder, 44, will be headlining its “girls’ weekend” retreat — which takes place from April 17 to April 19 — at the InterContinental Sydney Coogee.
But that’s just one of “a number of private, business and philanthropic engagements” Meghan and her 41-year-old husband have scheduled in mid-April, as their rep told People.
“Meghan really feels she can become the country’s new Queen of Hearts,” In Touch‘s source dishes. “She’s already secured a bunch of trademarks so that she can launch her products. She’s very excited.”

The last time the California-based couple headed Down Under was in 2018 — while they were still working royals.
Now, six years after stepping down from their regal roles, Meghan’s hoping to be embraced by the continent’s anti-monarchist movement, says the source.
“It’s no secret that a lot of people in Australia aren’t exactly fans of the royal family,” notes the source. “In Meghan’s view, that automatically means people there will be far more receptive to her and Harry than they are in England.”
Adds the source, “She’s convinced that they can position themselves as the modern alternative to the royals, and this little tour is a chance to test the waters.”
