Mama June and Sugar Bear’s Custody Battle Over Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson Is Heating Up

The drama is real. Mama June Shannon and Sugar Bear's custody battle over their daughter, Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, just took a nasty turn. In a clip from this week's episode of Mama June: From Not to Hot, Sugar Bear literally goes off on his ex. In the clip, he claims that he knows June has a man living in her house and throws some crazy insults her way — which you can see in the video above.

In a separate interview, Sugar Bear tells the camera, "I knew June was going to try and keep me away from Alana…she’s trying to sabotage our relationship — it ain't gonna fly with me, it ain't gonna happen!" But, Alana and June have a different story claiming that Sugar Bear isn't the father figure he says he is.

At the beginning of this year, Alana chatted with People and said, "He calls me every once in a while. He doesn't really call me that much, which is kind of sad because he’s supposed to be my father and I think if he's my father, you should call me more."

June added, "There's so much hurt from the past that has brought us to where we're at today, so honestly for me, he's got to show her — not me — that he wants to step up and be a father and that he wants to do what he needs to do."

The reality star spoke to [Entertainment Tonight](https://www.etonline.com/news/214523mamajuneopensupabouthercurrentrelationshipwithsugarbearhepissesmeoff)_ after her dramatic 300-pound weight loss about how Sugar Bear has made her feel like next to nothing in the past. She said, "He really made me feel like s–t [and] I wanted to show him, 'Hey, I can do [whatever] I want to do'… I wanted to show him, like, I am actually worth it." Looks like Sugar Bear's custody battle cursing might be digging his hole with June even deeper.
