After Timothée Chalamet lost the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role at the 2026 Oscars, Travis Scott celebrated — in more ways than one, perhaps.

Kylie Jenner’s ex-boyfriend — with whom she shares daughter Stormi, 8, and son Aire, 4 — shared a photograph to his Instagram Story of Michael B. Jordan accepting the Oscar for playing the dual role of brothers Elijah “Smoke” Moore and Elias “Stack” Moore in Sinners.

Jenner’s current boyfriend, 30, was nominated in the same category for his performance in Marty Supreme, but the actor came under fire in recent days due to his unkind comments about the renowned art forms of ballet and opera.

While Scott, 34, didn’t provide any additional commentary alongside the photo of an emotional Jordan, 39, making his acceptance speech, many social media users interpreted it as a dig.

“Okay, please this is so iconic lmao,” one person wrote alongside a screenshot of Scott’s Instagram Story. “Because tell me when was the last time Travis Scott care about the Oscars?”

“Travis Scott is a professional hater,” another person said. “I love it.”

However, some pointed out that Scott and Jordan have been friends and believe the rapper was just supporting his pal’s major accomplishment.

“People saying travis scott hating on timothee chalamet are y’all dumb a black man who he’s friends with won best actor of course he’ll post it,” wrote one X user.

Scott and Jordan previously worked together on a Cincoro Jack Añejo campaign, in which they custom selected the tequila.

While Chalamet and the Kylie Cosmetics founder, 28, are relatively private when it comes to their relationship, the actor thanked his girlfriend during his Critics Choice acceptance speech for his win for Marty Supreme.

“Lastly, I’ll just say thank you to my partner of three years,” he said at the time. “Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Though Sinners won four awards at this year’s Oscars, One Battle After Another was named Best Picture. Marty Supreme went home empty-handed.
