Proud ‘Sister Wives’ Parents Kody and Christine Congratulate Son on Major Accomplishment
Way to go! Kody and Christine Brown shared some very exciting news involving their son on April 3, announcing that Paedon officially graduated from National Guard Boot Camp. The Sister Wives couple gushed about his major accomplishment via Instagram and shared a beaming photo from the ceremony. Kody, Christine and Paedon were all smiles in the snap.
“Congratulations @paedonbrown for graduating from National Guard Boot Camp #hooah #nationalguard,” the proud mom wrote, 46, showing off her son all dressed up in his uniform.
Several fans were also sending kind-hearted messages in the comments, praising Paedon, 20, for his hard work. “Congrats! Thanks to him for his service. Thanks to you for raising a son willing to serve,” one wrote. “Great job raising an amazing young man,” another sweetly added.

Christine previously shared an update about her son’s endeavor. “Saying goodbye to Paedon! He’s leaving for Utah National Guard bootcamp! #nationalguard #utah #military,” she captioned the photo back in January 2019. Kody, 50, and Christine’s third child shared together, Paedon, followed in the footsteps of his half-brother Garrison, whom Kody shares with wife Janelle Brown. Garrison enrolled in the National Guard on July 12, 2016 and graduated in September.
It definitely runs in the family, as Janelle’s other son, Hunter, is also currently enrolled in the United States Air Force academy. His expected graduation date is reportedly 2020.
Meanwhile, there’s been some drama going on with the brood on recent episodes of the show. In mid-March, Kody and Christine got into an argument when he suggested that the whole family could live in one big house in Flagstaff, Arizona. He later took to social media with a statement defending his relationships and role as a husband and father. “I’ve been doing right by this family, ALL my wives and ALL my children for 30 years,” Kody wrote. “Have some faith in me.”
