Kim Kardashian Has Food ‘Couriered From Around the Country’ to Take Just ‘A Bite’: ‘So Wasteful’

Kim Kardashian’s been put on blast by daughter North for refusing to cook in over two years – as a source exclusively reveal to In Touch how the pampered reality diva spoils herself rotten with gourmet food that costs her a fortune and has chefs scurrying around 24/7 to cater to her every culinary whim. 

Fans were treated to a delightful insight into Kim and her 11-year-old’s relationship when the SKIMs founder, 43, asked her daughter, “How’s my cooking?” for an interview with Interview magazine on Friday, October 11.

“You haven’t cooked for us in a long time,” answered North. “Last time you cooked was two Halloweens ago.”

The source reveals that The Kardashiavns star has a few tricks up her sleeve – and dollars in her bank account – to avoid slaving over a hot stove for over two years. 

“Kim doesn’t trust DoorDash, so anytime she gets a craving for her favorite restaurant or even fast food she sends one of her staff out to get it for her,” the insider says. “And this isn’t just once in a while, this is multiple times a day, because she’s always craving different things.” 

“Another crazy thing she does when it comes to delivery is getting stuff couriered from around the country. If she’s craving her favorite beignets from New Orleans, or pizza from Chicago, she’ll call and get it rushed delivered the same day.” 

“She’s very conscious about gaining weight, so she’ll literally have just a bite or two and toss it out much of the time, but it still costs a pretty penny,” the source adds. 

“And the same goes for her private chefs, she has them cook up these elaborate meals for her and her friends most nights.”

One of Kim’s previous private chefs, Jesse Henderson, revealed some startling details about the reality star’s eating habits to DailyMail in July 2024. 

Regarding the would-be lawyer’s eating habits, the chef, who has traveled with Kim to the Caribbean specifically to cook her favorite meals while she’s on vacation, says she doesn’t avoid carbs like one would expect a T.V. star on a diet would – always wanting fries, chicken tenders and burgers on hand – but demands her pasta be served sans sauce. 

The gourmet said he was paid anywhere from $2,500 to $5,000 per casual dinner, with themed events for Kim and her friends running upwards of $25,000 – all for meals “they usually just pick at,” fearing weight gain, the first source tells In Touch.

“It’s outrageous and so wasteful, but Kim’s oblivious,” the source adds.

“Her chefs also have to cook whatever each of her kids want to eat, so five different meals, three times a day.” 

While that may seem extravagant, for Kim, who has a net worth of $1.7 billion, “money is no object.” 

“She has all her chefs on staff, so she feels like they should have something to do. She argues it would be more wasteful to just have them sitting there doing nothing.”
