The Kardashians Have a Habit of Posting Sexy Selfies During a Family Crisis

The Kardashian family is known in no small part for the sexy selfies they share all across social media. In fact, a Kardashian sister posing naked or suggestively is basically a part of their brand, and they always find an opportunity to share a shot, even if it that opportunity is just that, LOL, you can’t find any clothes that you like this morning. No, really. Kim Kardashian captioned one of her famous suggestive shots, “When you’re like I have nothing to wear,” and we won’t pretend it wasn’t absolutely legendary. Our girl Keeks is by far the queen of the #thirsttrap Instagram pic (sorry, Kylie Jenner — maybe one day it’ll be your turn). But sometimes the timing of their shared shots is, uh, questionable at best.

Because we have to say, we’ve kind of been noticing a trend. When something goes wrong for one of the Kardashian-Jenners, another (or a bunch) of the sisters will band together to posts provocative pics. And it’s been happening for a while now. We’re not sure if this is some kind of brilliant marketing ploy cooked up by Kris Jenner in order to distract from whatever Kardashian krisis is currently blasting through the news cycle or if it’s just honest and true vanity. We wouldn’t be all that shocked if Kourtney Kardashian was on her phone mid-Kendall’s Pepsi ad controversy thinking to herself, “Sorry, but my Instagram is on a schedule and I don’t like to get off track,” as she slips on a bikini and pouts in front of the mirror or whatever.Whether it’s strategic or selfish, though, it’s a classic Kardashian move. When there’s scandal in the air, simply take to Instagram, Photoshop your curves to be a little crazier than usual, than do your best to break the Internet. Hey, that’s one way to get your name into the news cycle and your sister’s out of it, right? This family does all they can to protect each other, after all.
