Kanye West’s Father Was a Paparazzo (REPORT)

During a deposition for the civil lawsuit filed by photographer Daniel Ramos, Kanye West dropped a major bombshell—his father was once one of the celebrity photographers he detests!

“My father was a paparazzi himself,” Kim Kardashian’s husband allegedly said during his deposition for the case resulting from the rapper’s scuffle with the photog at LAX last year.

“My father was a medical illustrator, a Black Panther, a Christian marriage counselor. My mother was the first black chair of the English department in Chicago State. They didn’t raise me to be out here wrestling with some random paparazzi in front of LAX.”

Kanye went on to describe his tumultuous relationship with the photogs—explaining they even help him with parking and “watch my car and make sure that cops don’t give me tickets.”

“There are some nice guys out here trying to just feed their family,” he reportedly told Ramos’ lawyer. “And then there’s a–holes like the guy you’re representing.”

As for where his own father falls on the spectrum—we’d say he’s far, far away from “a–holes like Daniel Ramos,” considering ‘Ye once named his father, Ray, as one of his idols alongside Steve Jobs and Jesus Christ.

“My father was a photo journalist. We had a dark room in our house,” Kanye told Zane Lowe during an interview with BBC 1 last fall.

“Seven years ago, he lived in a homeless shelter, not because he was homeless, because he wanted to help the ex-drug addicts, he wanted to get that close….

“There is no awards show, there is no amount of Billboards, there is nothing that can define me or make me pass what my parents made me. That’s exactly who I am.”
