Jordyn Woods Shouts Out Women She Admires on Instagram and the Kardashians Didn’t Make the Cut
The Kardashians didn’t make the cut! On Friday, March 8, a.k.a International Women’s Day, Jordyn Woods paused her Instagram hiatus following the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal to pay homage to a couple of ladies she looks up to. “I want to honor some women I admire for their constant contribution to make an impact on today’s society,” the model, 21, wrote over a picture of Rosie the Riveter.
She also included: “Happy International Women’s Day. We’re strong and powerful and together we can do it.” Jordy then added pictures of Melinda Gates, Malala Yousafzai, Sheryl Sandberg, Michelle Obama, Tarana J. Burke, Mia Hamm, Oprah, Wendy Kopp, Maya Lin, Wangari Maathai and Ava DuVernay.

To be fair, Jordyn left her own little sister, Jodie Woods, out of her tribute and clarified with, “Now those are only some … if you don’t know the story of these women, you should educate yourself. We have power in unity. No idea is too big.” So, we can’t *exactly* be shocked to see her famous former friends missing.
However, we do think her timing is a bit, er, odd. Given the salacious details of the brunette beauty’s night of passion with Khloé Kardashian’s baby daddy, 27, you’d think her capacity for celebrating women would be completely MIA … guess not! We also can’t help but wonder why Jordyn neglected to include her pseudo-aunt Jada Pinkett Smith. After all, Jada, 47, gave Jordyn a platform to tell her side of the Tristan situation.
On Friday, March 1, Jordyn sat down on the mother-of-two’s series, Red Table Talk, to set the record straight once and for all about the affair. Shortly after the episode aired, though, Koko took to Twitter to call Jordyn a liar and even blamed her for ruining Khloé’s family. Ouch.
Well, if nothing else, at least things have calmed down in the last seven days. Here’s hoping everyone involved in the scandal can use this day to celebrate women … and not sleep with anyone’s man.
