A reconciliation with the rest of his children. “There is no co-parenting with Kate,” Jon admitted about his tumultuous relationship with his ex. “It’s Hannah and Collin at my house and the rest at hers.” He’s also trying to respect his kids’ boundaries while still letting them know he loves them. “It’s hard to reach out to people that don’t want to talk to you,’ Jon said. “If I knew they wanted to talk to me, then I’d be reaching out more.”

Look at that grin! Jon Gosselin was all smiles on Tuesday, Dec. 25, during a photo op with his son, Collin, and his daughter, Hannah. The former Jon and Kate Plus 8 star recently received temporary custody of Collin, so it was a Happy Holiday, indeed.
“Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from our family to yours!!!” Jon captioned the snap, along with his girlfriend, Collen Conrad, and her kids.

According to Radar Online, Collin returned home from a treatment facility last week. “He is expected to be released December 18 or 19,” a family insider previously told the outlet. “Collin will transition out of the facility and will finally be home with his dad for good.”
It’s Jon’s first major holiday with any of his kids in a while. Of course, he was missing his six other kids, but having Collin around, plus his sister Hannah, was at least a pretty good start.
“I never had major holidays with my kids,” the former reality star told Life & Style magazine at WE tv’s Real Love: Relationship Reality TV’s Past, Present & Future panel on Dec. 11 in LA. “I always shared it with Kate and got them after the fact.”
But that all changed when Jon, 41, filed for full custody of Collin after Kate Gosselin, 43, sent him away to live in a facility for kids with special needs.
Kate has had primary custody of the couple’s twins and sextuplets since their nasty divorce, but Jon has been scoring some major wins lately. Earlier this year, he shared on Instagram that Hannah “permanently lives” with him, hinting that he has full custody of his daughter. And on Dec. 4, a judge ruled in his favor when it came to temporary custody of Collin.
