Jim Edmonds Shares 1st Photos With New Girlfriend Kortnie O’Connor: ‘Quarantined Workout Partner’

A couple who sweats together … stays together! Jim Edmonds took to his Instagram Story on Wednesday, April 15, to share several fitness photos with his new girlfriend Kortnie O’Connor.

“Quarantined workout partner,” the former Major League Baseball player captioned a selfie. In a separate shot, he wrote, “Clearly Kortnie is not always taking it [seriously],” with a laughing emoji.

In March, a source told In Touch exclusively Jim is “moving really fast” with his new flame. “Jim is obsessed with Kortnie. He says he’s having a great time and he’s finally happy. They have fun together and they make a great couple.” So far, the source noted, there is “no drama.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County alum had a messy breakup with ex-wife Meghan King Edmonds. In October 2019, the couple called it quits after Meg accused her husband of having an affair with their nanny. Following those reports, the caretaker denied any inappropriate relationship and Jim publicly slammed the claims as “disgusting.”

In November, a source close to the couple exclusively revealed to In Touch that the parents, who share three young children, settled on 50/50 joint custody of their kids. The deal was worked out between the former couple’s lawyers, and though Meghan was “not happy” with the arrangement, Jim was apparently “thrilled.”

“Meghan didn’t want Jim to get equal/joint custody, but that’s exactly what happened,” the insider divulged. “She expected him to get less because she’s been saying he can’t handle it, but he’s doing just fine.”

That said, there’s no telling if that agreement has shifted since the spread of the novel coronavirus. Jim recently revealed he was in the hospital undergoing tests for COVID-19. “Held off as long as I could. I thought I was tough enough to get through,” he captioned a photo in a hospital gown on March 28. “This virus is no joke. #GetHealthy.”

Thankfully, it seems like Jim has recovered, and we look forward to seeing more selfies with his new lady!
