Jill Duggar Has Movie Date Night With Her Sons ‘Cause Derick Dillard Is Too Busy Studying

Movie time with mama! Jill Duggar took to her website on Nov. 19 to share a special video of her little ones Israel and Sam preparing to watch All I Want For Christmas Is You. According to her blog post, the 27-year-old mother of two made popcorn with the kiddos and snuggled up with Israel’s stuffed doggy while Derick Dillard was “studying and finishing up a final assignment for law school.”

In the adorable video, Jill tells Israel that they’re gonna have a mommy-son date night while little Sam rolls around in his red onesie on the floor. “Getting ready to make some popcorn, yay!” Jill exclaims to the camera, all while asking her oldest son if he’s excited. Israel was clearly over Jill’s documentation of the evening because he wouldn’t even look her in the eye! Even though Thanksgiving is right around the corner, it looks like the Dillards are much more excited to get ready for Christmas, based on their movie choice… that is. However, the famous family did go ham during the month of October to celebrate the fall — they even visited a pumpkin patch!

It’s clear Jill loves spending the holidays (and appreciating the changing seasons) with her family, so we’re so happy to see them spending lots of quality time together. Hopefully, Derick actually learns something while studying for his law school classes so he can graduate and have more time to watch movies with his kids… and of course, have sexy date night with Jill. 😉
