It seems like Jessica Simpson has officially moved on after splitting from husband Eric Johnson.
The “I Wanna Love You Forever” singer, 45, is said to be dating a Nashville-based musician named Thomas Eisenhood, according to a Thursday, April 2, TMZ report.
Sources told the outlet that they’ve been romantically linked for about three months after meeting through mutual friends in the music industry. Simpson, who recorded her two-part EP Nashville Canyon in Tennessee, apparently spends time with Eisenhood when she visits her second home in Nashville.
TMZ reported that the relationship is still new, and Eisenhood has not yet met the businesswoman’s kids. Simpson shares daughters Maxwell, 13, and Birdie, 7, and son Ace, 12, with her estranged husband, 46.
According to Eisenhood’s LinkedIn, he is a monitor engineer at The Basement East, a live music venue in Nashville.
His bio states that he has “varied experience in all things music production/operations,” including “FOH engineer, stagehand, video and music studio production, festival networking, tour management, production management, over 350 shows on the road, baritone saxophone (Stoop Kids).”

He has also been photographed on social media playing the baritone saxophone.
In January 2025, Simpson confirmed she and Johnson had been living separately after more than 10 years of marriage, calling the split “painful” in a statement.
Upon the release of her Nashville Canyon, Pt. 2 EP, the mom of three wrote on Instagram that the extended play is “about healing, honesty, and finding strength in vulnerability.”
“It’s raw, it’s real, it’s me steppin’ further into the purpose of my heart as an artist,” Simpson said. “Now it’s time to share the grace of self discovery with y’all. I couldn’t feel more alive.”
